Things I would do if I became a billionaire:

Gosh never really thought about it... I guess buy a bigger house, own some investment properties, invest a lot of it, go back to school to do something that I love (nursing or doctor), buy my hubby the boat of his dreams, a couple vacation homes... Maybe Jeremy and I have talked about it a little not really being a billionaire but having more money that we do now... we would still want to be humble but have some things that we don't now...

Auntie "M" and Kaylee... 02/15~ So after many weeks of waiting for a "real" smile (one while she was awake) it finally happened. But not exactly as I had hoped... It was for Megan not Mommy or Daddy! We were having dinner at Jan's house (my mother in law) and while Megan was holding Kaylee she started laughing and when she looked down Kaylee had a huge smile on her face and of course Jeremy and I missed it!!! Megan got her to smile again and we got to see it. It made my week. I love that she is finally getting a little personality. Megan was so excited! She does not get to hold Kaylee often because she is usually busy with her 2 girls! Megan loves being an Auntie!

~ 5 weeks~

I decided to get out her play gym (or whatever this thing is called) and she loved it. She just looked at everything for about 30 minutes. It was really cute! I am shocked at how alert she is. She is sleeping a lot less during the day. I am hoping that she will start sleeping longer through the night now... I am sure that is wishful thinking. She is getting so much bigger. I think she has gained some weight in the past couple of weeks. The shocking thing is she keeps getting longer... Should be interesting to see how tall she gets considering mom and dad are both short!

~One Month~

She is getting big so fast

It is already Kaylee's 1 month birthday... I cannot believe how fast the time has gone. I feel like she was born yesterday but at the same time I feel like she has been a part of our lifes forever. I am really enjoying being a mom. I am SO in love with her. The first month has been a lot easier than I expected. I think I was expecting the absolute worst so I have been pleasantly surprised. Kaylee is a really good baby so that is helpful. She is getting bigger everyday, she is now fitting in newborn and some 0-3 month clothes. She is sleeping less during the day and is much more alert. She loves looking at everything. I am looking forward to her laughing soon. Kaylee is my new little buddy we do everything together. Being a Mom is the best job I have every had!!!

The Crib

Our happy girl hanging out in her crib The past 4 nights I have put Kaylee in her crib. At 1st I thought she was to young and was not sure I would be able to sleep without her close to me. But it has been great. The past 2 night she has slept in her crib the entire night aside from her usual feedings every 2-3 hours. I am sleeping better because I don't wake up to every noise that she makes. She has been such a good baby. She is getting bigger by the day and has discovered her voice. I cannot believe that she will be 1 month old next week... I wish a month of pregnancy had gone by this fast :)
