Washington Trip

We just got home from a 5 day trip in Washington State. My mom and I go every other year to take care of things with my Grandma and this time Kaylee got to join us. We had a very different trip this time mainly spent in the nursing home (where my Grandma is) and hospital with a little break to visit my cousin Jenna and her family. My Uncle Paul went into the ICU on Thursday afternoon with serious health issues so we could not have been there at a better time. I am SO thankful that we were able to be there to help him the best we could. Although my trips to Washington are not full of fun I always create wonderful memories with my mom and family. I feel so blessed to have such a special relationship with my mom she truly is an amazing woman. Please keep my Uncle Paul in your thoughts and prayers!

Movie Night

My sister in law Megan and Shelly had the best idea... "Movie night" with all the kids outside using a projector. It was so cute all the kids picked a seat and movie and had a blast with popcorn and all. I can't wait to do it again!

Stats

Before I forget to add Kaylee's 18 month stats (well really 20.5 months) I'm a little behind. Our little peanut is now weighing in at 22 pounds (10th %) and 32.5 inches long (50th %). She is healthy and happy and learning something new everyday! We love our little girl so very much!

Kaylee's "horrible" cheese face... at least it makes us laugh!?!?

Feeling lucky...

Today Kaylee and I spent the entire day together just the two of us. We started our day with our morning milk/coffee, then off for a walk then beach, nap for her, shopping, dinner, ice cream, bath time, stories.... We do this often but for some reason today was special and I have an overwhelming feeling of gratitude toward my hubby. Jeremy works very hard everyday for our family and I am so thankful I get to stay home with Kaylee and enjoy all the little things. While Kaylee and I were at the beach today she played in the sand for a good 30-45 minutes and I got to enjoy some relaxation. I truly felt lucky! We need to do that more often! I know that being a full time mom is very hard work but I am thankful to my teammate for allowing me to enjoy quality time with our daughter! I love you honey and cannot wait for you to be home with us full time!!! xoxo
