Christmas 2011

We had a great Christmas this year. We enjoyed Christmas Eve with all the Ritter's and Christmas day with my side of the family. I love the holidays and all the traditions that come with it! I'm so thankful that we have two beautiful healthy kids, that I am married to my best friend and that we have supportive and loving family and great friends.

10 Months

Our little man is now 10 months old.

It is hard to believe that he is almost a year. He is now crawling... yippee!!!! I was starting to think he would be one of those babies that just starts walking. He loves his food and is starting to eat more and more table food. He is also now sleeping through the night. We or should I say HE has accomplished a lot this month.  Parker is always so happy and just seems so content all the time. We love his sweet personality and smile.

We had our annual family Christmas party at Aunt Debbie & Uncle Ron's house. It was so much fun and something I look forward to every year. This years theme was breakfast food & pj's. Thank you so much for hosting every year Swanson's. We are lucky we live so close to our family.

Kaylee had her very first Christmas performance last week. She did great... was really shy and had her hands in her mouth almost the whole time. But we LOVED watching her perform.

Santa 2011

Santa was so much fun this year. Kaylee went right up to him and gave him a big hug it was so sweet. As she gets older the holidays are even more exciting for me. Parker did not cry which I expected. He just looked at him funny and then sat there. :)

Parker had his 9 month check up 3 weeks ago.

He is healthy and happy!!!

Ballet

Kaylee and her cousin Hanna took a ballet class together and loved it. I think I have found an activity that Kaylee really enjoys. We have done gymnastics and swimming and she has gone and done them but never loved them as much as ballet. I love watching her learn new things!

My Sweet BOY

I feel like I have been bad about posting Parker's updates. This is my form of a baby book so I really need to work on this...

 Parker has become the sweetest and happiest little baby. He is SO easy going and so dang cute I can't stop kissing his chubby face! He got his 1st 2 teeth on Oct. 25th @ 8 months and 2 days. He is still not crawling but can get where ever he needs to go. We call him the rollie pollie. He is VERY ticklish and laughs hysterically all the time. He is starting to sleep a lot better, some nights are better than others but I am usually only having to get up once at 4. As of today I am done breastfeeding. I am sad about it but it was time. He was so over it I was holding on for dear life trying to force it. He LOVES his food and eats everything. He is a wonderful addition to our family and I cannot imagine my life with out this adorable face!!  

Kevin's 60th

We celebrated my step dad Kevin's 60th birthday at the Corvette diner in San Diego. It was a lot of fun and very entertaining for the kids. Thank you for being so good to us. We love you and are so grateful we get to share specials days like this with you.

Thank you Grandma Spike for putting on an amazing night. This is one of my very favorite traditions. My mother in law decorates her garage and makes yummy food... we carve pumpkins (and get really into it), eat, and do a pinata. The kids and adults all have a great time. I look forward to this night every year :) 

Kaylee's 1st Field Trip

Kaylee had her very first field trip at the pumpkin patch. It was a lot of fun to watch her interact with her friends from school. I even ran into my cousin Heather she is a teacher and was with her class on a field trip... small world!
