GIRL!!!!!!!!
Last Monday Jeremy and I went to an ultrasound place that does early sex detection. It was so exciting. When we got there I was really nervous and I am not sure why... Once we started all that I cared about was seeing the her heartbeat and just looking at her. Once I saw that everything was good and that she was active I did not even care what sex the baby was. And then when she said "It's a GIRL"... I was in complete shock. I made her explain how she knew 3 times. I really thought that we were having a boy. I think I am still in shock! It was so awesome to see her moving around so much. She said that our baby is not shy!! It was a great night. One of my favorite parts of the whole thing was watching Jeremy's face he could not take his eyes off the TV!

Week 11

I had my first appointment with the specialist on July 3rd. It was very informative and made me feel SO much better about all my worries. She answered all of my questions and made me feel very comfortable. I will be seeing her monthly as well at my midwife monthly. I feel really great about the care I am under. I also found out I will be delivering at Anahiem Memorial. My friend Nicole delivered there and has nothing but great things to say about it.
Above is the one picture I got of the baby on July 3rd. It still is not a great one but it is starting to look a little more like a baby rather than a little bean. The baby is looking at us if that helps. The baby has a strong heartbeat and is growing well.
I have an ultra sound on the 16th at this place in Costa Mesa that all my friends have gone to in hopes of finding out what we are having. I cannot wait! So far almost everyone I know who is pregnant is having a girl. I just can't wait to start shopping. I think my mom and Haley are more excited than me! What do you think... boy or girl????
July 4th
The 4th was fun this year! Hailee (my niece) is now old enough to enjoy all the fun festivities. We had great day! It was nice and sunny we watched the parade, rode bikes around, and hung out at the Water's pool most of the day! At least 10 times I thought to myself that next year I will have a little 6 month old with me. I am getting more and more excited about our baby coming.

New Due Date

On Thursday I went for another ultra sound to get additional measurements to determine a more accurate due date. I got to here the heart beat which gave me chills it was awesome. After having the ultra sound my due date has changed to January 22nd instead of January 15th. So far things are going great. For those of you who do not know when I was younger I had a health problem called ITP from age 13 t0 18. It is a blood disorder that causes a low platelet count. The reason I bring this up is I got my blood work back and my platelets are the best they have ever been. But I have to see a specialist for the rest of my pregnancy and starting July 3rd I will be going to the doctors every 2 weeks rather than just once a month. They just want to keep a closer eye on us because of my past health issues. I feel good about it and am SO thankful that everything is going perfect so far.

1st Doctors Appt.
We had our first appointment yesterday. It was so great. I loved the mid wife she answered all of my questions and was very informative. She actually has the same birthday as me. The best part of the whole thing was we got to see the baby and the heartbeat. The baby is measuring a little smaller than 8.5 weeks so I will be getting another ultra sound that will allow them to give me a better due date. As of right now it is either January 15th or January 21st. It made everything very real. I just still cannot believe that I have a baby growing inside of me. I kept having dreams before the appointment that the doctor would try to find the baby and nothing was there. So when I saw the babies heartbeat I could not get the smile off my face.

2 Months Already

The past 4 weeks have gone by pretty fast. It has been fun telling our friends and family about our exciting news. They say you are not suppose to tell until you make it through the first trimester but it is so hard to not tell the people you love such great news. I have felt great up until this last week. The morning sickness has started. I cannot complain because it is not as bad as some of my friends have had. And why do they call it "morning sickness" I would love to know??? I get it at all

I am really looking forward to our first doctors appointment. It is Friday. I cannot wait to see the size of the baby and hopefully here the heart beat. I am also looking forward to asking a ton of questions. I think that will make things much more real for Jeremy and I.
The pictures are of this past weekend.
