Past Due

Yesterday I here Kaylee playing in her room after her nap and I come in and see this... She got excited to see me and pulled herself up! I know we should have lowered her mattress long ago but I think I waited a little to long.

7.5 Months

Kaylee and Grandma Spike
Our little Cow Girl
Little Matthew (7 weeks old) we got to spend some time with them last week.
Kaylee is now crawling which is so fun to watch. She has really started to get a little personality. She has definitely learned how to get what she wants. She can be a feisty little thing. She loves her own voice...(wonder where she gets that from) and uses it ALL the time. I have been leaving her with Daddy more often. Last week I got a pedicure one night and went to Burke Williams on Sunday for 5 hours. So she is doing better and so is Daddy.

Happy Birthday Haley

Noel~Lauren~Haley~Brianna
Haley celebrated her 29th birthday yesterday at the iLouge with her family and friends. My night out was VERY short lived... Apparently my daughter has a serious attachment to me. After being gone less than 2 hours I get a call from Jeremy and all I can here is a screaming baby... I tell him to try the bottle once more if that does not work I will come home. Well needless to say nothing was working. She got herself SO worked up that she was soaking wet in sweat and would not eat or do anything but scream... SO frustrating!!!!
Ironically I got my weekly e-mail from baby zone about Kaylee's 32nd week of life. Here is what it said...
Between six and nine months, babies show wariness when something out of the ordinary happens. They now recall what they've experienced before, whether people, places, or things. They're most comfortable with what's familiar (OK, who isn't)Babies, however, have no filter through which to hide their distress. Plus they have limited experiences overall, so they face many novel situations in which they'll display wariness or downright fear. At those moments, your child will turn to you for comfort and reassurance.
SO... After I got Kaylee calmed and to sleep I realized that I need to leave more often so that when I do have an event I can enjoy myself and know that she will not give the person watching her a hard time. Happy Birthday Hay!!! You are one hot mama! Love you

~7 Months~

Our Kaylee girl is now 7 months old. She is such a joy to be around. She laughs at everything and makes me laugh all the time. She is now sitting, rolling and scooting everywhere. She is very close to crawling but does not have it down yet. She still has no teeth but shows all the signs of teething. Kaylee is a great eater she loves everything so far. She is becoming a little chubby thing her legs are hilarious. We have been enjoying pool and beach days she loves the water. I feel so blessed to have such a happy healthy baby.

Family Fun

Tyler (almost 3), Hanna (8 months), Kaylee (7 months), Hailee (3 years), Ashlyn (20 months) & Jacob ( almost 3)
Today we enjoyed a great BBQ/house warmer party with all the family at Mike and Heather's new home. We tried to get all of Nana's great grand kids together for a picture. I took about 10 and this is the best I got. We are only missing Baby Mason who was there but sleeping. WOW how things have changed in 3 years. It was SO much fun to see all the kids together.
Kaylee's 1st swing ride

Play Time

Maybe she will love the piano like her mommy
In the past couple of weeks I have gotten Kaylee some new toys
I think she likes them... so does her best buddy :)

~Bath~

So we have been doing her bath in the sink now that she can sit up and she loves it!!!
