Mother's Day 2010

Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms I know and love so much. We had a great relaxing day! I was lucky enough to see my mom and mom in law.

We met up with my parents half way for lunch. It was a great surprise seeing my mom... she was suppose to be out town. Happy Mother's day to my beautiful loving mom and dear friend. I love you very much and am proud to call you my mom! You are an amazing woman I am SO thankful for you and all you do for our family.

After lunch we went to Spikes house for dinner. As you can see the girls all had FUN! I could not have ask for a better mother in law. Jan is a great example to me and has done a wonderful job raising her 3 kids. We are lucky to have you so close. I love you Mama Jan!!!!

Back to...

NORMAL!!!

I have been back at Dukes now for a year and the past several months I have been working 4 days a week because we were short staffed. Although I do enjoy working and am thankful for such a flexible job I really only want to work 2 days a week, so that I can focus most of my time and energy on my family.

Things are back to normal (only working 2 days) and it feels wonderful!!! I got the whole weekend off and was able to relax in the morning, make breakfast and not have to be anywhere. I realize now how much I use to take the little things for granite.

Easter Fun

This year my birthday fell on the day before Easter so we decided to do my favorite thing Easter weekend... A relaxing night away in Palm Springs. We stayed at my parents timeshare and the Easter Bunny came to us! It was beautiful weather and great quality time with my little family of three!

The following night Grandma Spike had the family over for Easter dinner and of course her girls were spoiled with lots of goodies from Auntie Nellie and Spike.
