Roller Coaster Ride!!

The past 4 days have been very hard on my mind and body. As I wrote in my last entry we thought we were going to have Christmas baby... well obviously that did not happen. Then on the 26th we were sure she was coming! I started have very regular contraction again at about 11:00 am while at my sisters house. They were exactly 5 minutes apart for 2 hours and then got to be 2-4 minutes apart while I waited for Jeremy to get home to take me to the hospital. Once we got there I was hooked up to everything for about an hour and the contractions were coming 1-4 minutes apart for a consistent hour. The midwife came in to check me and I was only dilated to 3cm and 80% effaced... long story short they sent me home and told me I was in the early stages of labor and this could go on for days. I was shocked, confused and very frustrated. So yesterday morning we had our scheduled weekly appointment. There is still no change in my dilation or effacement. I am still have contraction about 5-10 minutes apart so now we just have to wait for the time that they get even stronger or my water breaks. After leaving my appointment in tears yesterday due to frustration I have decided I am not going to think about it or time my contractions anymore. She will come when she is ready... Hopefully my next post will be a picture of Kaylee!!!

Merry Christmas!

Conner opening his presents!
Little Hanna!!!
Merry Christmas I hope that everyone had a good time with family and friends! The last couple of days have been pretty eventful with the holidays but also for this pregnancy. On Christmas Eve we were sure little Kaylee was going to be a Christmas baby. I was having contractions 4 minutes apart so after about an hour we called labor & delivery... Anaheim was full so I was going to have to go to Irvine Regional (which I was not excited about)... the nurse told me I could stay home for a little longer if I wanted. So Jeremy and I came home got everything ready to put in the car and them I asked him if we could just hang out and make sure this was really "it"... well after about 30 minutes my contraction calmed down and eventually went to about ever 10 minutes. So we decided to go to bed and try to sleep. Well I could not sleep of course and spent my whole night on the couch waking up to contractions... but still not close enough together. So we went my parents house yesterday and enjoyed Christmas with my family. I was having contractions all day so when we got home I decided I should call labor & delivery again mainly because I was concerned about the stress these contractions could be causing the baby. They told me as long as she is still moving all should be fine. And that I should come in when my contractions get to be 5 minutes apart. So here I am at 5:50am unable to sleep due to strong contractions this morning at 4am. They were consistently 7 minutes apart for an hour and now they are once again back to being 10-12 minutes apart. This little girl is either just not ready or being VERY STUBBORN just like her mom and dad. I know that she will come when it is time. As Jeremy left work this morning... I once again said the could be the day we meet our little girl (for the 3rd time)!!!

Christmas Weekend

Ashley and Kevin's wedding. (35.5 Weeks)
My boys sleeping...
Merry Christmas!!!! xoxo

This weekend was a busy yet great weekend. Jeremy took this weekend off work and it was SO nice to have him home 2 days in a row. We went to Ashley & Kevin's wedding on Saturday which was really fun. I got to spend the morning with my parents and then we celebrated Christmas with the Ritter's this afternoon. It was weird saying good bye to everyone and having them say next time we see you... your little girl will be here. It is definitely becoming more and more real as the time gets closer!!! Jeremy and looking forward to this new journey together!

Doctor Update

Today I had my weekly appointment and to my surprise I am dilated to 2 and 50% effaced. I guess the reason I am SO shocked is my last appointment which was 10 days ago I had nothing going on down there. So it is exciting to know that things are moving in the right direction. I have decided that tomorrow I will be getting our bags ready and getting the chair seat out of the box. Just in case anything does happen... I am not holding my breath that is for sure considering a couple of my friends have walked around for weeks in similar situations if not more dilated and effaced. I know that she will come when ever she is ready. I really hope that she waits till after the holidays though!

I had a great day with mom :) Thank you so much for your help. Now all we need to do it get the bags packed and the car seat out of the box and in the car.

Holy Belly!!!

My belly is HUGE!!! With only a month left I am starting to feel ready! I must say the past couple of weeks have been hard on my body. I know it is only for a little longer and will all be worth it.
Last Friday was my last day at work. All my co-workers made is SO special for me. I had a great last day before my leave. I cannot believe she will be here soon :)

The 1st Family photo!!!!

I cannot even begin to tell you what a great day yesterday was... Haley was amazing and very calm. She made labor seem like a piece of cake. I was very impressed!! It was so awesome getting to see Elle for the first time and watch Haley interact with her baby. I kept looking at her and saying "you are a mommy"... I still cannot believe that she is really here. It seems like yesterday we were walking on the beach both newly pregnant talking about how shocked we were that we would be having babies so close together. Elle is so beautiful with a perfect mix of mommy and daddy! Sean and Haley are already great parents!

Congrats Haley and Sean on your prefect new addition!!! I love her already!
